Wildlife plantings can take many forms depending on the landowner's objectives. The purpose may be for bobwhite quail, turkeys, native pollinators, and monarchs.

Such plantings typically include native forbs, but not always. Wildlife plantings can be implemented through a number of USDA and other partner programs.
