Last Updated: June 2, 2026
Our Commitment
Missouri Native Grasslands Collaborative (MoNGC) is committed to ensuring that our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards to ensure equal access for all users — including those who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, have limited movement or dexterity, have cognitive or learning disabilities, or rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice recognition software, or alternative input devices.
Conformance Status
www.mongc.gov is substantially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Substantially conformant" means that the vast majority of content meets the standard, with the exceptions noted below under Known Limitations.
Current Status
This website has been reviewed for conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities and more user-friendly for everyone. Accessibility review and testing are ongoing, and identified issues are addressed on a continuing basis.
Known Limitations
The following accessibility issues currently exist that are outside the direct control of MoNGC:
- Third-party embedded content: Certain embedded features — such as social media feeds, maps, or widgets — are controlled by external providers and may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are committed to selecting accessible third-party tools whenever possible and will provide accessible alternatives where needed.
Users who experience difficulty with any third-party embedded content can contact us directly for assistance accessing that information in an alternative format.

A Note on Ongoing Accessibility
Web accessibility is an ongoing commitment, not a one-time achievement. Websites change continuously — new content is added, platforms are updated, and third-party tools evolve. What matters is that accessibility is treated as a sustained priority: remediating known issues promptly, building accessible practices into everyday content work, and responding openly to feedback from users with disabilities. MoNGC is committed to holding our website to that standard.
